Tracye+Michael Engagement session, Cedar Park, Texas, Michael Barker Photography
I met Tracye and Michael at the Georgetown Bridal Show back in Feb, and we made arrangements to shoot their engagement session in the middle of March...the weather was continuously changing, with the possibility of rain that day, but as it turned out, we had perfect evening weather.
We started at the Avery Ranch Golf Club where they have a beautiful wedding pavillion and cascading waterfall element both overlooking Running Brushy Creek which all complemented the black semi-formal outfits. We then moved to the Cedar Park Town Center with a casual clothing change and headed over to the clock tower and the park which had plenty of art sculptures and made for some fun images. A quick third clothing change into black leather and we moved to something completely different. Michael has this really cool Yamaha motorcycle that Tracye wanted to incorporate into the session, so we did a little motorcycle shoot. They were such a great couple to work with and patient as well especially with the motorcycle shoot that I had him repeat the drive a couple of times as it was getting dark and shooting in the dark while driving alongside the motorcycle was challenging but fun. And, no, I was not driving. My wife graciously helped out with the driving. A special "Thank You" to Autumn Marks at the Avery Ranch Golf Club. If you are looking for an engagement or bridal session, I'd love to hear about your wedding plans. I set aside up to 4 hours for a session, which gives plenty of time to relax and change outfits as well as different locations.
